My Dad might be different or the opposite to other Dads so these wont apply to all men but these are some gifts that I know my pops would love if I had the money to buy them all lol:
1. If you have a large budget or a splitting a present with someone else, a Kindle is a brilliant idea because a lot of men like to read, and it is so much lighter and easier to carry around than actual books! As I don't have that kind of dolla, I bought him a Kindle voucher instead that you can get on Amazon, because he already has a Kindle!
2. Another technology-ish gift idea is a 'Mophie' case for his phone. If you don't know what they are, you put them on your phone and they keep you phone charged all day or if you are running out of battery, you pop it on your phone and your problem is solved! you can either be fancy and go for the 'Mophie' ones or you can stinge it up like me and get one in Primark for under €10 ;)
3. The last techno prezzie i'll mention is the typical dad gift, the watch. You can splurge and buy a Michael Kors, or you can scrimp and get a Pound shop watch, but in my opinion, He's not gonna care because its the thought that counts! A watch is a watch, no matter who made it, it tells the time and he'll appreciate the fact that you show an interest in his punctuality! haha
4. Now onto the smaller gift idea's, which are usually my go-to's. You really cant go wrong with a good old tie! you can get him a flamboyant one if ya want to embarrass him, you can get Christmas ones, birthday ones, and even musical ones! it all depends on what and who youre buying it for!
or you could get creative, make it yourself and guilt him into wearing it to work mwahaha! |
5. Another timeless classic is a big mug for his morning coffee's or night-time tea's! you can get really funky ones to suit him or is interests, for example, i'd be a Disney mug girlo all the way!
6. You can get him something to do with his favourite sport or sports team. for example I once got my dad personalised golf balls because he loves golf! if you know a man who loves football you could get him a poster of his favourite team!
7. The last one, would probably be most mens favourite, and one of the cheapest. If youre looking for a last minute present, or if all else fails, simply buy him a crate of his favourite beer, a multi-pack of crisps, write a card and you're good to go!
These are just a couple of idea's that I have used in the past, I hope they helped and let me know if they did or you want other gift idea's! :)
