5 Different Braided Hairstyles

I have been hella busy lately, hence the lack of blog post but here are some different braided hairstyles that seem quite easy to do with a bit of practice :)

This is a gorgeous hairstyle for school or even a night out paired with snazzy earrings and a smokey eye. Two French braids or either side and some back-combing volume on the top, pulled into a high pony and youre good to go.

This is a really simple yet detailed hairstyle that would look amazing on a blondie because of the different shades of colour, just add some different sized plaits into the hair and pull it all into one thick braid.

Blake is known for her luscious locks but anyone could pull of this do'. Just create a loose, thick fishtail braid to the side accompanied with a medium and small sized braid, all secured with the same elastic. Add a funky clip if you're feeling cray ;)

This is a hairstyle that I wear nearly every day to college, it's super quick and handy and keeps my hair off my face which is a must for me and my impatience lol, just put the top half of your hair into a French braid and either straighten or curl the rest depending on what look you're going for and there you have it!

Last but not least, the infamous Lauren Conrad braided bangs. I always use this plait on second or third day hair when my fringe is greasy but I don't have time (or can't be bothered) to wash it. A simple French plait in across the fringe can turn 2nd day hair from groggy to gorgeous ;) (oh very cringe)

Whats your favourite braided hair?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LOBLOLLY

On this day I would like to wish the happiest of birthdays to my best friend.
Since I am broke since entering college, I decided to make this thoughtful, sincere, memorable and best of all, free slideshow to show my appreciation of her putting up with me for what I think is 11 years now since the first day we met and became friendies! Thank you Sorcha G for harmonising to every song with me, having the same sense of humour as me, and letting me drink, and waste, your fizzy water.
Not a fan of the cheesy stuff but we really were meant to be, from our shared passion for annoying people with our utterly mesmorising singing voices, to our obsession with 3 in 1's, to our mutual hatred/love of Ariana Grande.
Here's to another decade of the brilliance that is #SJWeb. Happy Birthday!

Cute and Easy Panda Nails

Helloooo, So I came across some panda nails on the interwebs and decided to try them out myself. These lil guys are so easy to do and you only need black and white polish which most people have! Hope you enjoy and try it out and leave any requests below :)

First I painted a little more than half of my nails with white polish in a dome shape.

I then took my little nail dotter that I got in Primark and drew two ears with black polish like this, you can also use a skewer or even a cotton bud.

I took the same dotter and drew two eyes and a teeny nose.

I wiped the dotter and dipped it in white polish and dotted white in the middle of each black eye, slightly smaller than the previous black dot. These look real creepy at this step #PhantomPanda's

I used the other side of my dotter which is smaller, dipped it in black polish and dotted it in the middle of the white for the panda pupils :) You could also use a black marker if the white polish was dry.

Have a happy day and I hope you enjoyed the tutorial!  🐼

DISNEYLAND FOR CHRISTMAS!

Helloooooooooo!!!
Today is a very good day!
I am a very happy Jenni at the moment!
A couple of weeks ago I applied to work in Disneyland Paris for summer 2015. I had an interview in French for it a couple of days ago and I thought I completely messed it up, I didn't understand most of the things she was asking me, we practically got in a fight over weather there was a 'Bippity Boppity Boutique' or not (which there is but we had to agree to disagree) and came home broken hearted thinking I missed out on my dream job!

Well today I was in the library studying (my facebook newsfeed) when I received an email offering me a contract to work at Disneyland for Christmas time!! I can not believe it woop woop :D

Anyone visiting Disneyland for Christmas I might see ya there and have a magical day!🎄⛄🎁❄🎅🌟

My Favourite Christmas Movies

Woop Woop its still nearly christmaasss!! If you know me you'll know I'm one of those 'it's never too early for Christmas' people, and I know a lot of people including most of my friends HATE the idea of crimbo decorations being hung in November but I just looove feelin' festive :) As the weather gets colder, there's nothing better than spending the day tucked up in a duvet with hot chocolate and some x-mas movies! Here are my top picks for the Holiday season:

1) ELF! My all-time favourite movie, really gets you in the Christmassy mood no matter what the time of year!

2) The very popular Home Alone series is a must for the holiday period, makes you lol and cry every time!

3) The Polar Express I feel is a bit of a love it or hate it situation. I used to hate it, but a couple of years ago watched it with a couple of friends and picked out every little flaw of the movie and laughed our hearts out and I have loved it ever since!

4) Another very popular movie about a Grinch who stole Christmas. This movie is amazing if you want giggles and goosebumps with its feel-good, festive humour. (except for the scene with the maggots in his teeth which always freaks me out!)

5) This is always the movie I watch on Christmas Eve with my pops and my trusty mince pies so when I watch this I always feel like a little kid :) makes you get in the x-mas mood while teaching valuable life lessons along the way hehe. Also starring Miss Piggy so whats not to love?

6) This isn't so much a typical Christmas film but is one of my favourite movies set at X-mas, as recommended to me by Joey Tribbiani himself from 'Friends'. 'Die Hard' is such an exciting and thrilling movie with that satisfying conclusion feeling at the end when everything turns out well (spoiler) lol.

7) My last favourite Crimbo movie is 'Love Actually', oh my god there is nothing not amazing about this movie whatsoever.... It has humour, love, cute kids, great music, Liam Neeson, and all things Christmassy. Absolute perfection.

Any one of these movies are guaranteed to have you #FeelingFestive coming up to Christmas, and I can not wait to start watching my faves soon! What are your favourite Xmas movies?

Full Brows for Winter

Oh damn, this is my brow-spiration.

Hmm, I cant decide if I like these brows, or fear them.

I love the straight style of the brows of the Olsen sista's.

Does anyone else feel like full brows are perfect for the colder months? Like they add a touch of sophistication to a cosy looking outfit? Or they simply keep the eyes a bit warmer in winter? lol. I feel like recently, fuller brows are becoming the style, and more and more people are becoming envious of Cara Delevingnes eyebrows. Gone are the days of the skinny brows - a la Jean Harlow, and a new bushy-brow era is approaching. Although some of us were not blessed enough to be born with bushy brows, (myself included) here are some tips and tricks for us unfortunate souls to add some Delevingne into our faces hehe:

1. If you have over-plucked your brows because you got a bit excited with your new tweezers, go back to square one and let your brows grow back to their natural state! And resist the plucking urge!!

2. Rub lukewarm olive oil into your brows every night before going to bed, this softens them as well as improving hair growth. You can also use Vaseline.

3. Include lots of Vitamin C in your diet to promote hair growth, you can take supplements or eat foods that are rich in Vitamin C such as Blackcurrants, Kiwi's, citrus fruits, dark green veg and bell peppers.

4. Use a brow pencil to lightly outline your eyebrows, if you are going to overdraw them, do it on the top rather than the bottem as this makes your eyes look smaller. after doing this, fill in your brow with powder for the most natural look.

5. When choosing a brow pencil or powder, choose two shades lighter than your hair colour if you have dark hair, and two shades darker than your hair if you have light hair.

6. When filling in your brows, it is important to not over fill too much because they will look like slugs rather than brows so make sure you fill them in naturally.

7. When plucking your brows use this guide with a pencil or makeup brush to make sure you don't over or under pluck.

Hope you found these tips helpful and Happy Browsing!! (get it? haha im good)

Christmas Penguin Nails

How cuuuute!

Helloooo! Since we have entered into November, it is officially CHRISTMAS!! well, in my mind anyways. I decided to try out some Christmassy nails, so the first ones I tried were these cutie-patootie penguin nails. These are really easy to do and all you need is black, silver and orange nail paint, and either a nail dotter or a tooth pick. Heres how I did them :)

First I painted all my nails with an Essence black nail varnish.

I then took a Gosh silver nail polish and painted a semi circle on the top of my nails and did two big dots with a nail dotter above.

I took the same black nail polish and put a small black dot in the middle of the larger silver dots to make the eyes.

I took a small dotter and dipped it into orange nail polish and drew a small triangle at the top of the semi circle for the beak, and drew two little feet at the bottom.

I added a top coat to make them nice and shiny and that's it :) Hope you like them and I cant wait to do more Christmassy nails wooo! ❄ x
